Reinhold Corporation is a family-owned enterprise that stewards land and resources and honors its family legacy as a Clay County landowner for nearly 100 years.
Our Heritage
From modest beginnings as a young ice cream maker in Pittsburgh, Paul Reinhold became a prominent business leader. In 1931, he took over the leadership of Foremost Dairies in Northeast Florida, then a struggling company, and over the next 30 years grew it into one of the nation’s largest dairy operations. By 1955, sales exceeded $400 million, leading to the company’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
In 1932, Reinhold acquired 120,000 acres in Clay County which supported dairy and timber operations. Over time, he sold substantial portions to timber companies and to the State of Florida for the establishment of Camp Blanding. In 1968, he formed Reinhold Corporation to create a lasting legacy for his family. Today, the company owns nearly 15,500 acres near Penney Farms and remains one of Clay County’s largest private landowners.

Through the Paul & Klare Reinhold Foundation, the Reinhold family supports nonprofits across Clay County through leadership development, capacity building programs, and the Celebrate Clay awards program honoring community service and nurturing future leaders.
